The Farmhouse is a perfect rural retreat tucked away up the hillside. Here you can unwind and let the undulating landscape work its magic on you.
This is a place to truly get away from all the stresses and pressures of daily life. There is an amazing collection of rare and antique books dotted around waiting to be read in front of one of the roaring fires. There are plenty of family games and there is a lovely upright piano if you feel like tinkling the ivories. All the rooms are finished to a high standard and there is central heating & Wifi throughout.
Ground Floor Living Space - includes a large hallway with open stair case and leading off this is a kitchen, living room and back hall way.
Kitchen/ Dining Room - fully equipped and includes table and seating for up to ten people. Additionally there is an Inglenook fireplace which is decorative with cosy two-seat sofa and two armchairs.
Living Room - provides seating for up to eight along with a large open fireplace and lovely views over the valley. Upright piano and sound system for cassettes, CDs and MP3s.
Bedroom 1- charming king size bedroom with roof-lights.
Bathrooms - these are located on the ground floor. Shower room with rose-head shower and bathroom with roll-top bath.
1st Floor:
Large Playroom/ Landing Area - with arm chair and a sofa/extra bed
Children’s Bedroom - with bunk-bed and small table & chairs, sleep up to two children (full size single bunk beds)
Bedroom 2 - south facing king size antique bed, chest of drawers, side table and hanging space.
Master Bedroom - very large king size bedroom with south facing and hillside views. In-room sink, seating area, chest of drawers and hanging space.
